Guy Barretta

Mr. Barretta is currently the President of Barretta Consulting, LLC where he is a Fractional COO, Consultant, Coach and National Speaker working with brokerages, small businesses, franchisees and PropTech companies in the real estate industry. Mr. Barretta brings an extensive background in real estate operations, franchise management and Proptech Innovation. Working with agents and brokers has been a passion of his for the past 20 years.

Previously, Barretta served as COO of a Coldwell Banker brokerage in the Hudson Valley, where he successfully expanded operations from 130 agents and 6 offices to over 200 agents and 8 offices. His experience also includes key leadership roles at Realogy (now Anywhere Real Estate), where he led the Coldwell Banker brand's growth across 14 states. His real estate career started in 2005 where he was a Director of Sales for a Commercial Real Estate brokerage in New York City. During his tenure at Massey Knakal Realty Services his most notable transaction was the sale of Vanderveer Estates for $138 million, a complex of 59 buildings and 2,500 units. At the time this was a record breaking deal which has since been surpassed by a number of transactions in Brooklyn.

Barretta’s expertise spans commercial real estate, PropTech, and operational management. He holds an MBA, complementing his hands-on experience in both startup environments and well-established real estate organizations.
